Love it IKEA!! Very good.

This little recipe is amazing. Missing your Friday night curry? Well here is a dish that you will love.

The ingredients may seem a little strange but trust me the outcome is amazing.

Diced Onions (as many as you like)
Sliced Mushrooms (again, use as many as you like)
2 x Mushy Peas (tins)
1 x Baked Beans (tin)
2 x Chopped Tomato’s (tins)
1 Tablespoon Chili powder
1 Heaped Tablespoon of Curry powder

This is a slimming world recipe that I’d learned from other members and I tend to use it maybe twice a month if not more.

I have been told that it freezes well and tastes better but I’m yet to try this because it never lasts that long.

Weight in

Today was weight in and really didn’t expect to see a good resault due to a few meals out and having a week off from Weight in.

Well I think this is why eating real foods and leaning about whats right and whats not will alway stick with you even if your not expect it.

This week I lost 4 lbs and it was a real shock.

I find it hard still at this stage learning when my tummy is full.

Tonights meal was two small jacket potatoes with a tin of baked beans with lean ham chunks and 3 fried eggs all cooked low fat of course using fry-light as per my previous blog.

I was stuffed full and maybe a little too much,  however everything I had was syn (Slimming world value) free.

Today I also started using myfitnesspal (smartphone) app to help recognise how much I had taken in. I was surprised that I was only about 12 cal out from what they would recommend as a daily target so feel quite happy about that.

Big thumbs up today…. keeping inspired!!

When it comes to weight loss and keeping motivated even if you recognise you haven’t been true to the plan. It’s knowing your goal and to re focus.

I am sure that tomorrow for me I will need to be drawing a line. I have been out for a few meals and having a little break but that doesn’t mean I’m going to let it continue.

From this week I’ll be drawing the line and refocusing on the plan.

I’m going to try and combine slimming world with myfittnesspal this next couple of weeks to see if counting my intake with the plan.

I know with many of the foods with slimming world are free food or super free but I still find I may be eating more then I should. So combining the two might have a better out come.

I’ll keep you posted…..

Remembering Princess Diana. 31st August

1961 – 1997

Can you remember where you heard the news and what was you doing at the time?

I met her when she’s was opening a school about 25 years ago. I give her a bunch of flowers and she in return have me a big kiss. I feel very bless to have met her. An amazing woman.
